JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To provide courteous and efficient service as per hotel’s standard operating procedures and, where possible, to comply with each and every guest request.
• To greet all guests in a courteous and friendly manner i.e., always with a smile (the first impression is very important).
• Tour provide full details information of Siem Reap (Angkor Wat, Shopping, restaurants, ticketing …ect)
• To sell accommodation in such a manner so as to maximize revenue and occupancy. Always up-sell, i.e., try to sell the most expensive rooms.
• To ensure that confidential information such as occupancy, room revenue, contract room rate, etc. are not divulged to any parties without management approval.
• To use discretion and tact when dealing with guest enquires problems or complaints in an efficient and professional manner without detriment to the Hotel and/or its reputation.
• Must be knowledgeable of handling the Front Office eDoor System and to maintain the computer discipline at all times.
• Perform any other job-related duties assigned to him/her by the Front Office Manager
• To work closely with the Housekeeping Department, if any early check-ins or late check-outs request.
• To liaise closely with Housekeeping regarding room allocations, early arrivals, group arrivals, room changes, early departures, request for cots and any other accommodation request.
• To handle all mails, messages, packages, flowers, gifts and other items for guests.
• Reports to FOM of guests’ complaints immediately. However, should handle minor ones so as not to delay the guests at the counter.
• To be alert and ready without any delay at all times to provide immediate attention for approaching guest. To answer telephone calls promptly but courteously. Never let the telephone ring more than three times.
• To be discreet when giving guests names and room numbers over the counter or through the telephone conversation.
• To attend departmental meeting and training programmers when requested by the management.
• Responsible for the cash floats, also responsible for any cash shortage or unsettled amount due to their negligence.
• To post outlet charges which are not updated to the room accounts as soon as they are received and to ensure that all calls are properly charged.
• To receive and post to the appropriate folio of all cash received in payment of room accounts.
• To have proper records and post to the appropriate folio all cash received in payment of room accounts
• To carry out foreign currency transactions according to established procedures and policies.
• To check out guests and make sure guest settles all bills upon departure.
• To ensure accuracy in all transactions and handling of cash, credit cards, cheques and vouchers.
• To be fully familiar with hotel credit facilities and room rates.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school education and/or vocational training completion is an advantage.
• Be able to communicate in English.
• Computer skills of word/excel/power point/email.
• Experience in Front Office is event better
